The Videos Released by the Ecuadorian Air Force
The account
The Ecuadorian Air Force supposedly opened its files and showed videos of objects its pilots could not explain.
What investigators found
The release was presented as official, but the videos mostly show lights and distant points, with no proof of extraterrestrial origin.
The story
In the late 2000s, Ecuadorian researchers released a series of 44 videos presented as material made public by the Ecuadorian Air Force on UFO sightings. The package included testimony from pilots and military personnel and footage of objects in the country's skies. Civilian groups that study the subject, such as CEIFO, took part in releasing and analyzing the cases.
The move put Ecuador on the list of countries that have opened files on the subject, alongside Brazil, Chile and Peru. As with other military archives, most of the records show lights and shapes that are hard to identify for lack of technical data. The military never claimed to have proof of craft from other worlds.
