The story
In June 2025, Danish UFO researcher Martin Kleist presented on journalist Ross Coulthart's show footage he says he shot in southern Greenland, near Narsarsuaq. The video, recorded with an infrared camera during a research trip with a colleague, is said to show a glowing object rising from behind a mountain. Kleist also describes colored lights seen with the naked eye and through binoculars.
Kleist is preparing a documentary on reports from the region and says the Danish military command claims to have no records of UFO encounters. The footage has been discussed on skeptic forums, which point out that distant lights, aircraft and the limitations of thermal cameras have explained many similar videos. So far, no independent analysis has been published.
