The story
On the night of December 14, 1983, real estate broker Antônio Nelso Tasca was driving home in Chapecó, in western Santa Catarina, when he said he came upon a glowing object on the road. According to him, he was taken inside the craft, where a female figure who introduced herself as Cabalá delivered a message from a world called Agali, with warnings for humanity.
The story drew wide attention in Santa Catarina, and Tasca began giving interviews and talks about his experience. The content of the message resembles other contactee accounts of the period, with a spiritual and cautionary tone. There are no outside witnesses and no physical traces. For skeptical researchers, the case is an example of an intense personal experience that cannot be verified.
